Lexi Thompson made her pro debut at the ShopRite LPGA Classic ten years ago, racing onto the circuit in a Red Bull Racing display car. She was 15 years old, a rising 10th-grade student with all the components for fame.
“I used to hit it really hard when I was younger,” Brittany Lincicome said, “but she was on another level of swinging hard.”
Thompson was asked whether there was a “Lexi line” of apparel in the works during his first week as a pro. That would be OK, she replied. Thompson, an 11-time tour champion, revealed the new “LEXI” brand a decade later, following a change in her management team to GSE Worldwide, Inc.
