Alana Haim was born to a Jewish family on December 15, 1991, in Los Angeles, California.

She is a musician and actor from the United States. She is most recognized for her work with the American pop-rock band Haim as a pianist, guitarist, and vocalist.

Este was born on March 14, 1986, and Danielle was born on February 16, 1989.

Alana and her sisters created the band Haim in 2007, and their EP Forever was published in 2012. They have performed at several music events, one of which drew the notice of artist and musician Jay-Z, who signed them to his newly formed company Roc Nation in 2012.

Este and Danielle, together with Alana, got a Grammy Award nomination for Album of the Year for their third album, Women in Music Pt. III, in 2020.

Mordechai “Moti” Her father, Haim,, is an Israeli-born retired professional soccer player who immigrated to the United States in 1980. Donna Rose, her mother, is a former elementary school art teacher from Philadelphia. Haim’s paternal grandmother was born in Bulgaria.
