Former Miss Brazil Gleycy Correia died on June 20th, following a tonsillectomy operation that resulted in heavy bleeding and a massive heart attack.
What was Gleycy Correia cause of death?
Correia had been in a coma since April when she suffered her first heart attack after having her tonsils surgically removed. Correia’s body was buried on June 21st after an autopsy at the Forensic Medicine Institute of Macae.
The 27-year-old model and influencer suffered a cardiac arrest, which caused her to go into a coma due to minimal neurological activity.
Gleycy Correia was crowned Miss United Continents Brazil nearly half a decade ago and has since established herself as a successful model and influencer.
Aside from modeling, she worked professionally as an entrepreneur, specializing in laser therapy, permanent makeup services, and cosmetic tattoos. She was able to remove permanent tattoos from those who wanted to get rid of them using special techniques.
