Stefan Geosits was a Burgenland Croatian (Austrian) Catholic priest, translator, writer, and historian who died on June 20, 2022.
Since 1958, he has served as a parish priest in Klingenbach, where he has also directed an amateur Croatian theatrical troupe.
Geosits is the author of several novels, monographs, and religious works in Croatian, German, and Hungarian. His outstanding achievement included the first complete Bible translation into Burgenland Croatian.
He was 94.
