Trending all over social media is the heartbreaking news about Gwen Casten’s daughter. The congressman’s 17-year-old daughter died in the early hours of Monday (June 13), according to the congressman’s office.

The congressman’s office did not provide any additional information. At the moment the politician’s daughter’s death remains a mystery, however, in due time when her autopsy report is revealed more light would be thrown on what exactly killed her.
From rumors, the Chicago Tribune reported that police were called to the residence of Casten shortly before 7 in the morning for an unconscious teenage girl.
In a redrawn legislative district, Gwen Casten, who is seeking a third term, will face a Democratic primary against fellow incumbent Rep. Marie Newman.
