Ausama Shoubber gave birth to Sam Shoubber in 1956 in Baghdad, Iraq, the geographic center of the Middle East.
Sam fell in love with movies at a very young age, starting with his first trip to the theater at age six to see the very first Bond film, Dr. No, and continuing throughout his youth in Baghdad.
After falling in love with movies, Sam has dedicated his career to the film industry. Sam moved to London in the early 1980s, fulfilling one of his earliest goals, and for the next 25 years, he successfully developed and ran an independent video rental and selling business. Sam changed his attention to acting in front of the camera after the introduction of internet streaming, even though his company and the rental-film industry were able to make the transition from VHS to DVD and subsequently Blu Ray.
Sam began his new professional path in the early 2010s as a supporting actor in major Hollywood movies. Since then, he has worked on various short films, commercials, documentaries, TV series, and other full-length features. Sam’s ambition of working with one of his favorite directors, Guy Ritchie, immediately came true in 2019 when he was offered a part in the film “Cash Truck.”
