Martine Marignac husband: Was Martine Marignac married?

She was believed to be married. Her children are undocumented.

Marignac entered the production business in the early 1980s when he founded the film collective, La Cecilia.

She drew inspiration for the collective’s name from the Cecilia Colony in Brazil, which was created in the late 1800s by a group of Italian anarchists.

Marignac was born in 1946, and began her career as a press attaché in the 1970s, working for seven years with Simon Mizrahi, the cinephile and publicist who witnessed the birth of the New Wave and later helped place its creators on the map.

She began her long-term collaboration with Rivette under this umbrella, receiving credits on his 1981 picture Pont De Nord.

During this time, she also worked on Godard’s Passion, Jean-Louis Comolli’s Balles Perdues, and Chantal Akerman’s Golden Eighties.

Marignac picked up slightly about 50 movie credits throughout her 40-year career and remained working till 2019.

Her recent credits include Leos Carax’s Holy Motors, Sophie Fillières’ If You Don’t, I Will, Iosseliani’s Winter Song, and Jeanne Balibar’s Wonders In The Suburbs, for which she served as executive producer.

She died in France at the age of 75.
