The Larry Elder Show is hosted by Larry Elder, a California-based author, politician, and conservative talk radio personality in the United States. The programme premiered as a regional programme on Los Angeles radio station KABC in 1993 and aired there until 2008.
It then returned there for a second run from 2010 to 2014. The show was nationally syndicated by ABC Radio Networks from 2002 to 2007, and since 2015, Salem Media Group has been doing so. Elder is a prolific nonfiction writer who also writes a nationally syndicated column for Creators Syndicate. In the failed recall election of Democrat Gavin Newsom in 2021, Elder campaigned as a Republican for governor of California.

Although Larry Elder is currently divorced, he was once married. He initially got married to his longtime partner, a personal trainer. Her true identity is concealed. Additionally, there are rumours that he wed his longtime partner Alexandra Datig in 2014.
The 51-year-old said the event took place after a contentious disagreement when their relationship was about to end. After she went silent during the dispute, Elder reportedly “walked up to the nightstand, opened the door, and pulled out the handgun.”
Larry Elder parents, and siblings
Middle child of three brothers, Laurence Allen Elder was born in Los Angeles and raised there in the Pico-Union and South Central neighbourhoods.
His father Randolph (1915–2011), who was born in Athens, Georgia, served as a sergeant in the US Marine Corps during World War II before making the Second Great Migration from Georgia to California after the war. Around 1962, Randolph Elder founded a coffeehouse in Pico-Union after working as a janitor at Nabisco.
