Most of us instantly recall action movies, martial arts, and, of course, the classic Chuck Norris jokes when the name Chuck Norris is mentioned in a discussion.  Early in Norris’ boyhood, his parents separated. Norris relocated to Torrance, California, along with his mother and brothers. After graduating from North Torrance High School, Norris enlisted in the American Air Force. As a teen, Norris was incredibly reserved.

In 1977, Norris, who rose to fame in the 1970s, received his first leading part in the action movie “Breaker! Breaker!”

Chuck Norris’ Wife

In December 1958, when he was 18 and she was 17, Norris married his classmate Dianne Kay Holechek. Norris and Holechek separated in 1988 while The Delta Force 2 was being filmed, ending their 30-year marriage in 1989.

He married Gena O’Kelley, a former model who was 23 years Norris’s junior, on November 28, 1998.

Chuck Norris’ Children

From two marriages and one other relationship, Chuck Norris has five kids. Mike and Erick were his first two boys, born to his first wife Dianne Holechek. The actor’s last children, a set of twins, are the offspring of his second marriage to Gena O’Kelley. Chuck’s first daughter was conceived by his then-girlfriend, Johana, outside of marriage.

Chuck Norris’ Parents

He is the child of Wilma Scarberry (mother) and mechanic, bus driver, and truck driver Ray Norris (father).

Chuck Norris’ Siblings

He had two younger brothers but one passed away. Wieland was the name of his deceased brother, and Aaron, a Hollywood producer, is his other brother.

When people ask what I do for fun, I tell 'em, “I write.”
