Craig David originally gained attention in 1999, when he appeared on Artful Dodger’s hit “Re-Rewind.” Born to Do It, his debut studio album was released a year later, and he has since released five more albums.
Among his most well-known songs are Fill Me In, 7 Days,” “Walking Away,” “Rise and Fall” with Sting, and “I Know You” with Bastille.
As a solo artist, he has sold over 15 million records worldwide and has been nominated for 14 Brit Awards.

Craig said on The Diary of a CEO podcast that he became locked down after breaking up with his first girlfriend while he was in high school and that he never really healed from the breakup.
“I experienced my first heartbreak and it just went from a youngster with an open heart to all of a sudden it just crashed,” Craig explained.
“I’d never experienced anything like that before. My emotions kind of shut down when my early childhood sweetheart broke up with me.”
He was romantically linked to actress Sofia Vergara in 2003, although he has apparently been single for the majority of his career and has been focused on his music.
