Jeff Carson (December 16, 1963 – March 26, 2022; conceived Jeffrey Lee Herndon) was an American blue grass music artist.
In 1995, he was signed to Curb Records and released his self-titled debut album, which was followed by Butterfly Kisses in 1998 and Real Life in 2002.
He started his profession as a meeting artist in Branson, Missouri, and later as a demo artist. On the Billboard country diagrams, he had 14 singles, including the No.
1 achievement “Not on Your Love,” the Top Ten hits “The Car” and “Holdin’ Onto Somethin’,” and the Top 20 hit “Reality (I Never Was the Same Again).” In 2009, he passed on music to fill in as a cop.

Jeff Carson grew up in Gravette, Arkansas, after being born in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
He used to sing in church and play the harmonica and guitar. He established a band with other mates in high school.
They placed second in a local talent event for their performance of “Seven Bridges Road.”
