The Lead Pastor of the Higher Life Chapter of Assemblies of God at Sokoban, Mr. Samuel Kwasi Amoah, has called on Christians to stand firm in their faith and set a good example for others to follow.

Speaking at the launch of the church’s tenth anniversary with the theme “A Decade of Higher Glory,” Pastor Samuel Kwasi Amoah emphasized the need for church leaders to enforce Christian values and make a positive impact in ministry and all sectors of society.

Addressing the role of the church and Christians in the upcoming elections, Pastor Amoah emphasized the importance of maintaining peace and avoiding any form of chaos during the 2024 polls. He urged the electorate to be peacemakers and ensure that the country remains stable during the election period.

“We are charging Christians and Ghanaians to bring their virtues to bear in this season. Let’s unite ourselves and go through the period peacefully. Let’s be the agent of peace,” he stated.

As part of the anniversary celebrations, the church will engage in various outreach programs, including prison outreach, medical and health screenings, mass evangelism in schools, and clean-up exercises. The church aims to spread the message of peace and unity as they commemorate a decade of faith and spiritual growth.

Godfred Smith Asante, the Media Head and Anniversary committee member, expressed the church’s commitment to celebrating the glory of God and reaching out to spread the gospel to all who are willing to worship with them.
