In the Eastern Region’s Birim North District, five elementary schools, one clinic, and one hospital have all benefited from support to promote efficient teaching and learning as well as the provision of healthcare.
The GH¢135,000 worth of various equipment included three laptop computers with accessories, three air conditioners, ten sets of 32-inch flat-screen televisions, ten boxes of teaching and learning materials, ten bottles of hand sanitizer, ten pen drives filled with kid-friendly programming, and a refrigerator.
They came from the Ntiamoah Foundation, a non-governmental organization (NGO).
New Abirem Islamic Model School, Sakapia District Assembly (D/A) Model School, Akoasi Experimental, Akoasi Methodist, and Akoasi SDA Basic Schools are the educational establishments that will benefit.
St. Michael Clinic, Maternity at Akyem Ntronang, and New Abirem Government Hospital are among the other recipients of the supplies.
Ten flat-screen TVs, ten boxes of instructional materials, five boxes of hand sanitizer, and ten pen drives filled with kid-friendly programming were given to the five basic schools.
Three laptops with accessories, three air conditioners, and five cartons of hand sanitizer were given to the St. Michael Clinic and Maternity, while the New Abirem Government Hospital’s maternity ward was equipped with a refrigerator for medication storage.
