Isaac Wilberforce Mensah, a state attorney, has been designated as the Office of the Attorney-General and Ministry of Justice’s spokesperson.
Before becoming a lawyer, Mr. Mensah, a journalist with over 15 years of experience, worked for media companies like Citi FM, TV Africa, Multimedia, and GTV.
Before taking on the role of state attorney, Mr. Mensah enjoyed a prosperous career practicing private law.
In his role as the recently appointed spokesperson, Mr. Mensah will use his special combination of legal knowledge and media skills to explain to the public the initiatives, projects, and accomplishments of one of the most significant state agencies.
With his wealth of experience in the media and communications, Mr. Mensah’s work will improve the public Attorney-General and Ministry interaction for the efficient administration of justice.
As the entity tasked with bringing charges against suspected violators, filing civil lawsuits on the state’s behalf, and defending those lawsuits against the state, Mr. Mensah’s work will be essential to the state’s main legal advisory institution’s public education campaign to ensure openness, promote confidence, and encourage public cooperation.
Mr. Mensah confirmed his appointment and called it a call to serve his country and an honor.
