Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen, the founder of the Movement for Change and an independent presidential candidate, claims that despite his outspoken nature, he does not speak from the heart.
Speaking on Saturday morning, February 10, 2024, on Kumasi’s Nhyira FM, the former minister of trades claimed to be a principled individual who speaks his opinion on matters he is sure of.
He clarified that everyone who has been in close proximity to him will attest to his outspoken personality, pointing out that some people mistakenly believe that he lacks speech skills because he does not speak by heart.
He claimed he was one of the vocal members of both the Kufour and Akufo-Addo administrations.
“I pick my fights. I’m a fighter more than anybody else,” Mr. Kyerematen declared, going on to say that he chooses his battles carefully and that he is one of the brave people in Ghanaian politics.
In December 2024, he will be seeking Ghanaians’ votes for the General Elections. He will be criticizing the two major political parties, the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) and the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), for failing the people of Ghana.
He argues that neither the NDC nor the NPP have any real answers to the economic problems facing Ghanaians, citing their repeated reliance on IMF bailouts during their separate administrations as evidence.
He declared that his Movement for Change can be relied upon to lead the much-needed change that Ghanaians are longing for. He is prepared to lead Ghana.
As a result, Mr. Kyerematen has pleaded with voters to make him their top pick in the next 2024 elections.
