William J. Immerman was known as the President of Production of RSVP Entertainment LLC, an independent motion picture production company that he formed with Howard and Karen Baldwin, his former producing partners from Crusader Entertainment LLC.

William Immerman died at the age of 85 on June 24, 2023, at his Los Angeles home. There was no cause of death, and it is believed he died of natural causes.
Immerman was born on December 29, 1937, in New York, and he earned a B.S. in political science from the University of Wisconsin, then a Doctor of Law from Stanford Law School in 1963.
Immerman became a deputy district attorney in Los Angeles in 1964 before joining American International Pictures as an associate counsel. He rose to VP in charge of business affairs and eventually AIP production executive during the time the studio produced such films as Little Shop of Horrors, Wild In the Streets, Three In the Attic, and An Evening of Edgar Allen Poe, starring Vincent Price.
Immerman completed his career with EP credits on the soon-to-be-released Across the River and Into the Trees from Tribune Pictures.
