The majority of readers are likely aware that Steve Jobs, the founder and driving force behind Apple Computer, was adopted as a baby.

This week’s publishing of a new biography of him prompted me to revisit notes I had taken in 2011 at the time of Jobs’ passing away at age 56 and my reading of his officially sanctioned biography by Walter Isaacson, which had just been published around the same time.

Although I haven’t read the new book, based on press evaluations and conversations, I don’t think it will provide much fresh light on the topics covered here. But I welcome feedback from readers of Rick Tetzeli and Brent Schlender. becoming into Steve Jobs.

The fundamentals of electronics were taught to him by his father, and Steve cherished weekend treasure excursions with him in search of replacement components.

Warm and compassionate, Steve’s adoptive parents made him feel special. They sent Steve to college as promised to the birth mother, but he left after only one year.
