Stephen Lang is most well-known for his roles in Manhunter (1986), Gettysburg (1993), Tombstone (1993), Gods and Generals (2003), Public Enemies (2009), and Don’t Breathe (2016).

During his secondary education, he attended George School, a Quaker boarding school in Newtown, Pennsylvania, and graduated one year ahead of schedule (1969). In 1973, he received his bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Swarthmore College.
