Jermaine Lateef Rivers, an American actor, was born on September 22, 1973. What made him most well-known was his role as Shatter on the Fox/Marvel television series The Gifted. He portrayed Officer Carter in the Lifetime Channel television series Devious Maids. He also made appearances in Tyler Perry’s 2016 movies The Haves and the Have Nots and If Loving You Is Wrong (2018).
Among other films, Rivers has been in The Sacrament (2013) and Magic Mike XXL (2015). In the 2016 season premiere of MacGyver, Rivers portrayed Frank Colton. Originally played by Cleavon Little, Rivers took over the character of Frank Colton, a member of the Coltons family of bounty hunters who frequently appeared in the first MacGyver television series.
