Jayson Warner Smith, an American actor who debuted in 2010, played the role of Gavin on The Walking Dead.

He is also well known for his roles as Cooper in The Vampire Diaries and Wendall Jelks in Rectify.

Smith was born in Atlanta. He started performing at the age of nine. Additionally, he teaches acting at the Robert Mello Studio in Atlanta. Nevertheless, he was given a significant supporting role in a Hollywood film in 2010. He has made cameo appearances in a number of films and TV shows, including The Vampire Diaries, 99 Homes, Mississippi Grind, 42, and Fox’s Sleepy Hollow. He also appeared in Anchorman II, the 2011 remake of Footloose.
