Nicolas “Cole” Turner (born March 16, 2000) is a National Football League tight end for the Washington Commanders (NFL). He was drafted by the Commanders in the fifth round of the 2022 NFL Draft after playing college football at Nevada as a wide receiver before switching to tight end as a senior.

Turner was born in Clackamas, Oregon, on March 16, 2000. He went to Clackamas High School and was a two-sport athlete, playing football and basketball. In 2017, he helped his football team win three consecutive conference championships and a state championship. As a senior in 2017, he led the state of Oregon in receiving with 76 receptions for 1,325 yards and 20 touchdowns, earning him all-state honors.
Turner enrolled at the University of Nevada, Reno in 2018 and played wide receiver for the Nevada Wolf Pack in 12 games as a freshman. As a sophomore in 2020, he moved to tight end and was named first-team All-Mountain West after catching nine touchdown passes and finishing second on the team in catches (49) and receiving yards (605) behind Romeo Doubs.
As a senior in 2021, he was named to the All-Mountain West second team after catching 10 touchdown passes, which tied him for second in the country behind Georgia’s Brock Bowers. He competed in the 2022 Senior Bowl.
