Lucas went to Brentwood High School in Brentwood and where he played high school football and was a three-year letterman.
In 2010, he earned the Tennessee sports writers Association First-team 6a All-state honors. He was again named in the Tennesseans’ dream team and was captained. He featured in the Toyota Tennessee East vs West All-Star Classic on December 11, 2010.
He was also a participant in track and field events at Brentwood. Patrick has a height of 1.92m and weighs 142kg.
