Alexander Albon Ansusinha is a Thai-British Formula One driver who currently drives for Williams Racing. Albon has competed for Scuderia Toro Rosso and Red Bull Racing in Formula One, as well as AF Corse in DTM.
He was upgraded to open-wheel vehicles for the 2012 Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0 season after joining the Red Bull Junior Team in 2012. Albon advanced to the FIA Formula 2 Championship in 2017.

He competed in the series for three years and finished third in the 2014 championship.
In 2015, he competed in the FIA Formula 3 European Championship, finishing eighth. He joined with ART Grand Prix to compete in the 2016 GP3 Series, finishing second to teammate Charles Leclerc.
Albon moved up to the FIA Formula 2 Championship with ART in 2017, finishing ninth in his debut season. In 2018, he transferred to the DAMS team, where he won four races and finished third in the championship.
In 2019, he debuted in Formula One with Toro Rosso partnering Daniil Kvyat. Albon was promoted to Red Bull Racing after twelve races, partnering Max Verstappen and replacing Pierre Gasly.
At the 2020 Tuscan Grand Prix, he earned his maiden podium result – also the first for a Thai driver in a World Championship Formula One event. Albon was demoted to a test and reserve driver role with Red Bull for 2021 after two seasons in Formula One, and his place was taken by Sergio Perez.
