Hayden Lesley Panettiere was born in Palisades, New York on August 21, 1989.
She starred as Claire Bennet on the NBC superhero show Heroes (2006-2010) and as Juliette Barnes on the ABC/CMT musical drama Nashville (2012-2018).
The famous American actress has recently in an interview with PEOPLE magazine, revealed that she was very much an addict.
During a revealing interview with the popular magazine, Hayden Panettiere discussed her opioid and alcohol addiction.
She admitted that she was just 15 years of age when she started popping and using alcohol.
These “happy pills” according to her were slipped to her by one member of her team to bolster her confidence on the red carpet when granting interviews.
She slowly and unknowingly got hooked on tho the pills and alcohol to the extent that she almost lost her liver.
Panettiere eventually had to go to the hospital because her liver “failed” her.
Armed by the knowledge that if she didn’t take any action to get rid of her alcohol addition her liver might fail her or worse, she checked herself into rehab for treatment.
She currently doing fine and is billed to star in the next Scream film
