Marvin Achi who was billed to be on the Big Brother season 24 edition as a housemate has been replaced. Less than a day before the season premiere, CBS replaced him with Joseph Abdin.

The reasons for the last-minute switch remain unknown, but Abdin has been added to the cast. The TV channel broke the news on their official Twitter handle. It read: “Important casting update! Marvin will no longer be one of our Houseguests on this season of Big Brother. We’re excited to welcome Joseph, a 24-year-old lawyer from Lake Worth, FL. to the [Big Brother 24] cast!”

Abdin has admitted that he would do “anything ethical or reasonable” to win The Jump, but he would be hesitant to be selfish if it meant winning the show.

“I don’t want to lose myself or the friends I’ll make through this process over money,” he intimated.

Big Brother 24 is set to premiere on CBS on July 6, 2022, at 8 p.m. ET.

The house is located on a sound-stage studio lot in Los Angeles, California. The CBS series’ 24th season will feature 16 new houseguests.
