Ghanaian television personality Nana Aba Anamoah has been dominating headlines for the past two days following her appearance on ‘United Showbiz’.

Over the weekend, the GHOne TV news anchor and producer joined John Dumelo, Kwame A-Plus and Abena Korkor as guests on the show on UTV.

And while discussing mental health and the impact of Abena Korkor’s lies about her and other celebrities, Nana Aba Anamoah used the word ‘recidivism’.

“She has apologised and I am not Jesus Christ, I am not God so I can’t even pretend not to hear her,” she said after Abena Korkor apologised to her.

Nana Aba continued: “I have absolutely nothing against Abena Korkor. Abena knows that. So many times she has done similar things. I still pick up a phone and called her to let her come back on track. I don’t have anything against Abena.”

“She spewed a lot of lies about me. I’m glad she is apologising now. She will always be a special human being to me. I just hope that she means her words today, and going forward, she will not do it again,” Nana Aba added.

She further delved into Shatta Wale and Medikal’s arrest and discussion on mental health in Ghana. While discussing the topic, the word ‘recidivism’ popped from her mouth.

And since the show, the word has been used severally by social media users. Probably because it’s new and people aren’t acquainted with it.

Rapper Edem even started a whole challenge on the pronunciation of the word on Twitter.
