American country music star Jimmie Allen gets his first taste of the Grammy as he bags his first nomination in the 64th edition.
Jimmie Allen, 36, started the year on a good note, creating a monster hit “Freedom Was A Highway” (which features Brad Paisley). The song did the magic for him at the 2022 Grammy nomination announcement today.
He was nominated in the “Best New Artist” alongside Arooj Aftab, , Baby Keem, Finneas, Glass Animals, Japanese Breakfast, The Kid Laroi, Arlo Parks, Olivia Rodrigo and Saweetie.
Even though the category is a tight one, he is likely to snatch the accolade from his competitors.
