21-year-old American rapper and record producer Baby Keem has been recognised by the Recording Academy.

The California-native, who is also known as Hykeem Carter or Keem Booman, has received three Grammy nominations in the 64th edition, which were announced on Tuesday, November 23.

Baby Keem’s 2021 hit single “Family Ties” (which features his cousin Kendrick Lamar) has guven him a huge success at the 2022 Grammy.

He is up for the “Best Rap Performance,” “Best Rap Song” and “Best New Artist”. In the “Best Rap Performance,” he will be competing with Cardi B, J. Cole, Drake, and Megan Thee Stallion.

For the “Best Rap Song”, he will face DMX, Saweetie, Kanye West and J. Cole.

He will also battle Arooj Aftab, Jimmie Allen, Baby Keem, Finneas, Glass Animals, Japanese Breakfast, The Kid Laroi, Arlo Parks, Olivia Rodrigo and Saweetie in the “Best New Artist” category.
