Ghanaian boxer Bukom Banku claims he is more popular than dancehall star Shatta Wale.
The maverick boxer-cum-entertainer in his latest interview on Hitz FM said he has enjoyed the limelight for the past 20 years so it will be disrespectful to compare his popularity to that of the dancehall musician.
According to him, he hit the limelight in 1999 but Shatta Wale arrived just six years ago, adding that he is the second President of Ghana.
“I’m the second President of Ghana,” he told Dr Pounds on Hitz FM. “I’m more popular than everyone. I have been popular for the past 20 years. I came into the limelight on August 17, 1999, and I’m still reigning. Shatta Wale is small. He is just six years popular.”
He also said Shatta Wale can’t beef him because he is more dreadful than the controversial singer.
