Famous Ghanaian content creator, Archipalago has been subjected to unbridled ridicule on social media following the release of a song he composed.
Titled Megye, the song is presented as a fast tempo record which can invoke some aggressive dance moves.
The track, which was produced by Sickbeatz, features Obanje. In the hook, Archipalago expresses his dislike for the condition of suffering whilst alive and also ending up in hell to suffer from unquenchable fire. Many listeners have however described the song as a substandard song.
On YouTube, the audio slide of the record currently has almost 24,000 streams as of Friday, 6th September 2019. The source of the ridicule has actually been the number of dislikes the song is receiving in relation to the likes it is receiving on YouTube.
The number of dislikes for the song is currently heading towards 5000 whilst the number of likes is doing a little over 400. It is very unusual for artistes and other content providers to be getting these numbers with respect to the likes and dislikes for their audiovisual materials on the highly visited platform.
