Born Daniel Oblitey Comey, Starelo D.Blerz is a 22 year old multitalented artiste who is making relentless efforts to ascend to the mainstream scene of the music industry.
Starelo D.Blerz is a Christian who fellowships with the Teshie-Nungua branch of the Christ Embassy Church. He had his basic education at the Teshie Jordan Methodist School in Teshie. He continued his education at the Teshie Technical Training Centre.
The multiplicity of his talent lies in his ability to write songs, perform on stage, record, act and market products & services. Starelo D.Blerz currently has over 15 songs to his credit. The songs include Hinabo Inyemi, Wors3 Sane, Ghetto Life, Nyame, Love Me Today, Enemies, Emmanella, Maatee, Kokotee, among others. All these records are worth listening. Among the aforementioned songs, the song which actually facilitated the attainment of the recognition he currently enjoys is Kokotee.
According to Starelo D.Blerz, he has been on about 250 shows since he made a commitment to music but he also stated that he prefers to hang around at some concerts to monitor the environment rather than mount the stage to perform. He has also made a couple of appearances on media platforms.
Narrating his efforts at the embryonic stage of his career, Starelo D.Blerz revealed that one Jewnart was the first sound engineer to record his tunes and when he moved to Teshie, he linked up with one KingJay who produced the hit tracks that the masses are currently enjoying.
Starelo D.Blerz looks forward to achieve a humongous dose of success come 2019 – he believes it will be his breakthrough year. The basis for his expression of this optimism is that in 2019, he would be playing a huge gig with a Kumasi based artiste dominating the airwaves. He hopes to feature KiDi or Wizkid on his next record because their style is compatible with his.
Starelo D.Blerz’ role models include Davido, Wizkid, Tekno, Kuami Eugene, KiDi, King Promise, Mugeez, et al. He disclosed that KiDi is his role model because of the substantial similarity he shares with him in terms of style of singing and fashion. Some people even ask him whether KiDi is his brother. The Teshie based singer revealed that he is doing music because his strength lies in it. His prime aim is to take his music to the global stage.
