Nigerian Afrobeats star Wizkid has hailed Ghanaian Reggae/Dancehall legend Samini for his contributions to African music.
The duo performed their hit collab, titled “Time Bomb”, together for the first time at the just ended Glo Mega Music Show held at the Fantasy Dome in Accra.
Before their sterling performance, Wizkid introduced him with a lot of praises, describing him as ‘a big African legend from Ghana’.
He asked the crowd to put some respect on the High-Grade Family record label founder’s name.
“Yo, you have to put some respect on this guy’s name. This is a big African legend from Ghana. Please make some noise for king Samini,” Wizkid said.
At Samini’s peak back in 2012, he featured the Star Boy Entertainment label owner on the hit record. Produced by Killbeatz, the song dominated several charts and helped him grab numerous awards nominations.
