Hiplife artiste Kwaw Kese has rubbished rumours doing the rounds that his mother was dead and suggested no one takes that news seriously.
News has been circulating that the family of the musician is calling on him to help bury the mother who died at age 90. Not only are they asking for his help because they are not financially strong to give Yaa Serwaa a befitting burial but also it was the wish of the deceased for her son to lay her to rest when she is no more.
Some family members at Sankori speaking to DJ Emparo of Beat FM accused the musician of abandoning them.
Madam Tiwaah, Kwaw Kese’s elder sister pleaded with him to forgive her of any wrongdoing which caused him to abandon her and the family.
According to Tiwaah, there was a little misunderstanding between them which provoked the artiste to leave the mother and the other relatives to their fate in the village.
But the Mad Time artiste yesterday took to social media to debunk those claims.
He tweeted: “People fool oo lol, my mum is not dead . Ignore any stupid news going around.”
