NPP National Women’s Organiser Kate Gyamfua donates GHc5000 to Midlands Police assault victim

The victim of Thursday’s assault at the premises of the Midlands Savings and Loans by a Police Officer, Patience Osafo may have cause to smile now as the NPP women’s organizer, Kate Gyamfua has donated a sum of GHc5000 plus some other accessories to help ease her pain.

Patience Osafo was assaulted on Thursday at a yet unknown branch of the Midland Savings and Loans Company by a recruited Ghana Police Service officer known as Frederick Amanor Skalla.

The officer who has since been arrested and stripped of his uniform and badge assaulted the woman even though she was carrying a 2-month-old baby.

The assault was caught on video causing tremendous outrage amongst the populace.

The NPP Women’s Organiser, Kate Gyamfua has today July 21, donated a sum of GHc5000 and bags of rice together with others to help the woman get back to a normal life.
