Shatta Wale’s Gringo is lyrically empty – Stephen Anti

Broadcast Journalist with Media General’s TV3, Stephen Anti  has said the most talked about song in Ghana currently, Gringo, from Shatta Wale is Lyrically empty.

Ghana’s Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale last on Friday released the audio and visuals for his latest single, Gringo.

The song since its release has been trending on several social media platforms with Ghanaians and the world expressing their diverse opinions on it.

Some section of social media users especially fans of Shatta Wale are proud of their King for the quality video and lyrical content, however, some users who are “objective” have said although the visuals is superb, the song is lyrically bankrupt.

Broadcast Journalist Stephen Anti commenting on the song on his Facebook wall indicated that “I just want to say Gringo is lyrically empty”.

He used the opportunity to write out the lyrics of the song to buttress his point and defend his stance.

Gringo since its release has been trending on Youtube and is doing very well on various platforms it was released on.
