Yesterday, the annual CAF Awards was held in Ghana.
During the event, football and football people were awarded for their excellence in football in the year under review.
Although the event was hosted by Ghana, performances on the night was dominated by Nigerians and Nigerian acts.
Twitter users in Ghana cannot get why Ghana should host an event by fail to make their artistes and acts play key roles but put the focus on Nigerian music and art.

So Efya opened the show with our National Anthem and Kidi closed the show. But I think we could have had more Ghanaian performances on the show #CafAwards2017 #AiteoCAFawards2017

#AiteoCAFawards2017 has been a good advert for Nigerian Music. But not too Local Content and Local Participation compliant, is it?

So how much did Wizkid, Tiwa Savage, Olamide, Patoranking and the rest charged that no Ghanaian artist could charge same to perform. Only Efya sung the national anthem. Oh GHANA!

CAF was very disrespectful of Ghana tonight by putting up performances from artistes across the continent, including several from Nigeria, and not a single one from Ghana was good enough to be on stage here in Accra? Shocking and, in fact, embarrassing for CAF.
