Artistes under Bozawi Entertainment, a record label in the Upper East region will from October 28 embark on a tour to some selected Senior High Schools and Colleges in the Upper East region of Ghana.
The tour is part of the label’s move to build a firm following for its artistes and also to invite the students for the label’s maiden event dubbed “Bozawi Wild Invasion” which will take place at Tap Hotel on December 23.
Speaking to a1radioonline.com on activities earmarked for this year, Chief Executive Officer for the record label, Wilfred Bormeh indicated that the tour precedes the official launch of the label after which other programmes will be made public.
He indicated that Bozawi Entertainment has come to change the face of music in the Upper East region and is hopeful of projecting music from the Upper East region to international level.
On his part, lead artiste on the record label, SwagBoi indicated that the High Schools/Colleges tour will set the pace for a new beginning in the music industry.
He indicated that it will serve as an opportunity for him and his colleagues on the label to meet and interact with their fans; a rare opportunity which hitherto he could not have had.
He called on players in the industry to support eachother in order to make the industry in the region grow to a higher pedestel.
The selected schools for the tour of the region will however be announced subsequently.
