Dancehall King, Shatta Wale has added his voice to calls on social media to draw the attention of President-Elect Nana Akufo-Addo to consider filmmaker, Socrate Safo for the position of Deputy Minister for Tourism, culture, and Creative Arts.
The campaign on Social media which is championed by a group calling itself Creative Artistes in Ghana has been met with diverse opinions with some section of the public thinking he is not fit for the job.
But the latest to join the fight for Socrate to be considered for the job is Dancehall king Shatta Wale.
The artiste in a tweet to declare his support for the ‘hot fork’ filmaker wrote “I believe in this mans path ..please lets all support him for this position..lets all repost if you want the creative arts to grow much more better than now”.
