Kofi Siriboe, a Ghanaian Hollywood actor, is on the rise.

You all know of Idris Elba, Boris Kodjo, Kofi Kingston, etc, who are of Ghanaian descents and are making the country proud overseas but some of you are probably not familiar with this young fellow, Kofi Siriboe.

Kofi is one of the three Ghanaian Hollywood acting family, “K Brothers”, who are making Ghana proud overseas. The brothers have played major roles in many Hollywood movies and Kofi just landed himself a role in a new drama series, “Queen Star”, and he stars as Ralph Angel Bordelon.

The series is created by award-winning filmmaker, Ava DuVernay, maker of the movie, ‘Selma’ and co-produced by Oprah Winfrey.

 Below are basic ten things you didn’t know about the charming Hollywood actor.

1.His full name is Nana-Kofi Siriboe. Born on March 2, 1994, in Los Angeles, California.

2. His parents are not African -Americans, they were both born in Ghana. They just traveled outside the country. His dad went to college in Ghana but his mom went to college there.

3. Kofi is the middle child of the three brothers, Kwesi Boakye who featured in Tyler Perry’s film I Can Do Bad All By Myself as Manny, a voice actor for Gossamer on the Looney Tunes Show and also a singer and Kwame Boateng who played Albert in Everybody hates Chris.

4..He has been active in the Hollywood movie industry since 2013

5. He is signed to Wilhelmina Models, a model and talent agency in Dallas, USA.

6. In 2012, he featured in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation as James Newman in the episode “FALLEN ANGELS”

7. His first movie was a short film “Strange & Charmed” as Benjamin.

8. He was in the 2015 movie, Straight outta Compton which had Ice cube, Dr. Dre, Mc Ren,  and played the block dude role.

9. His recent roles he has played are Flaco in the movie “Kicks”, Kevin Hamilton in “Snowfall” and Ralph Angel Bordelon in Queen Sugar by Natalie Baszile, a regular series which has Oprah Winfrey as an executive producer.

10. He would be featuring in Girl Trip, a romantic comedy film directed by Malcom D. Lee and features Queen Latifa, Regina Hall, Jada Pinkett Smith, etc. The movie would be released on July, 27, 2017 by Universal Pictures.
